A need has been clearly identified for a program that gives babysitters, grandparents and family members the skills they need to manage and support a child living with type 1 diabetes, so you can leave your child in care with confidence their diabetes will be managed effectively and safely. This workshop will give you and those who help you care for your child a better understanding of type 1 diabetes, the management of high and low BGLs as well as tips to support their everyday needs.
